Catch the bus month promotion unfortunately coincides with bus cancellations

Both First Bus and Go Cornwall Bus are promoting the “Catch the bus month” campaign run by bususers.org. This is a very worthy campaign and it is good that the bus companies are supportive of it.

However, it is unfortunate that both companies’ are promoting the campaign on Twitter immediately before or after the notification of cancellation of several services today, particularly in the Newquay area. Not exactly joined up thinking!
