Transport for Cornwall: The Transport for Cornwall website has generally been an unreliable source of information but we were promised that a new, revamped website would appear on Thursday 9 January 2025. It did appear but it is merely the Go Cornwall Bus website rebranded as Transport for Cornwall with a few add-ons. It has improved since then but it still is not as comprehensive or kept up to date and as accurate as it should be.
GoCornwall Bus is the trading name of Plymouth CityBus in Cornwall, the main operator of the subsidised routes in the county; as of 9 January 2025, it no longer has its own website, the domain now redirects automatically to the Transport for Cornwall website. Go Cornwall Bus no longer posts travel updates on X (Twitter). It posts some (probably not all) updates on delays and issues on services in Cornwall on the Transport for Cornwall website. See Bus service updates.
Plymouth Citybus: for those passengers living in south-east Cornwall who may catch buses in Plymouth that are not part of the Go Cornwall Bus network (because they do not cross the Tamar into Cornwall), see Plymouth Citybus
Cremyll Ferry: for those passengers living in south-east Cornwall who may catch the small passenger ferry to Plymouth, see Cremyll Ferry
First Kernow: First no longer operates in Cornwall having ceased operations on 14 February 2026.
Stagecoach: Stagecoach South West operates services into Cornwall in the north of the county around the Bude area and in the south east from Plymouth to Saltash. They also have the contract to supply services to Callywith College in Bodmin and to Cornwall College campuses at Pool and Rosewarne, Duchy College at Stoke Climsland, and St Austell College.
