The Go Cornwall Bus no. 90 between Truro and Wadebridge includes Ladock on the B3275 on its route. Unfortunately, it seems that there are places on this road where overhanging trees are causing problems for double decker buses. Go Cornwall Bus have, therefore, announced that their double deckers will no longer serve Ladock and that section of the B3275, until further notice, and will instead divert through Grampound Road. Their Twitter feed refers to some of the 90 services but not all of them. Presumably, this means that some single decker services may continue to use the Ladock route. However, it is very confusing for any passengers planning to catch a no. 90 in Ladock.
See below a screenshot of the GCB tweet and also the no. 90 timetable.
I will try to get some clarification from Go Cornwall Bus and/or Cornwall Council as to how long this problem will last and what passengers should do meanwhile.
Update
16 December 2023
I have received confirmation from Go Cornwall Bus that the services affected are just those that use double deckers. They will divert through Probus and Grampound Road. The single deckers, those services not specified in the list of times on the GCB tweet, will continue to run through Ladock and the B3275. There is no indication at this stage of when the offending tree(s) will be cut back.
Further update
16 December 2023
GCB have now confirmed that the tree has been cleared and services are back to normal running through Ladock and on the B3275.
