Transport for Cornwall Facebook post about cheap fares for young persons, but they will rise by 60% in 5 days time

The Transport for Cornwall Facebook page has posted a story today (or possibly late yesterday) about cheap fares for young persons (19-25 years old) saying that an all day ticket can be bought for £5 or an all week ticket for £20, see
“Are you aged 19-25?”.

What they don’t tell you is that these fares will increase to £8 and £32 respectively in just 5 days time on 12 April, see
fare increases.

Perhaps the person who posted the story did not know about the fare increases. Or perhaps they did, but did not think that it mattered. Who knows?

I emailed Cornwall Council Transportation Department about this issue and this was their reply:
"Good afternoon,
Thank you for raising the below. The new fares have also been advertised on the TFC Facebook page, we will ensure that the new fares on the specific young person’s tickets post are updated from 12th April.
