Truro City Football Club will be kicking off the new season in the National League South at their new stadium at Langarth, Truro on Saturday 10 August at 3 p.m. against Dorking Wanderers. This represents a welcome return for the club to playing in Truro after a few years as nomads having to play home fixtures at a variety of grounds in Devon, Somerset and even Gloucestershire.
Arrangements have been agreed with Cornwall Council for access to the new stadium through the Langarth park and ride site. Spectators can park in the park and ride site and walk through to the ground. However, it is recommended that, as far as possible, spectators park elsewhere and use the park and ride buses to get to Langarth. Anyone living in Truro can catch the park and ride buses at the usual stops of Quay Street, Victoria Square, the railway station, County Hall, Treliske or Truro College. Those travelling from the east of Truro can catch the buses at the Tregurra site. The usual services will run throughout the days Monday to Saturday generally at 15 minutes intervals. Spectators travelling in groups can avail themselves of either family tickets of £4.70 for two adults and up to 4 children (5-15 years), or the adult group ticket of £6.00 for up to 5 adults. Tickets can be purchased from the driver or, in the case of the family tickets, in advance via the First Bus app.
For evening matches, the Langarth site will remain open until 23.00 allowing those who park there to exit the site after the match, but the buses to town and Tregurra will not run beyond their normal last departure of 19.10 so it will not be possible to use the bus service home after the match.
For matches on bank holidays, e.g. on Monday 26 August (vs. Worthing at 3 p.m.), the Langarth site will be open for match day parking but the buses will not be running on those days.
Note that the T1, T2 and T3 buses run through Threemilestone from the west to Truro regularly every day including bank holidays and in the evenings and it is a short walk from Threemilestone across the A390 to the park and ride site to the stadium, see T1 and T2 timetables.
For spectators coming from Newquay, they can use the U1 or U1A services that run from Newquay through Threemilestone en route to Truro.
For anyone travelling to the match by train, alight at Truro station and catch the bus from the stop directly opposite the station - the park and ride bus, or, on bank holidays when the park and ride is not running, a T1, T2, U1 or U1A to Threemilestone.
