Go Cornwall Twitter feed back online; but Transport for Cornwall website offline

Last week, I reported that Go Cornwall Bus’s Twitter feed had gone offline and GCB told me that they had been blocked for an inexplicable reason. There was a hiatus for 12 days without any tweets from GCB. Late yesterday (1 August) they seem to have restored access and GCB are tweeting again with updates on services.

Meanwhile, as of yesterday, the Transport for Cornwall website has gone completely offline with a “Bad Gateway" Error 502 message being displayed. As the site has always been unreliable in that information on it is often out of date or simply wrong, it is probably no great loss to the travelling public but it is a sad indictment of those who so proudly trumpeted the Transport for Cornwall brand when it was set up 2 years ago.
